I am trying to match the color of my 71 swb truck - it is a green color - not really a light or dark but just green - everything in my truck matches and even the ac vents match the color of green - it is not the pea green color but just "Green" - was this a color of 71? can anyone help me? do you know the number of the color? trying to paint the front clip to match an everyday driver truck - help?? thanks, Brent

would this information be on the inside of the glove box? i have an id sticker on the inside of the glovebox - will it tell the color number? thanks, Brent

It should be there - here's a shot of a glove box sticker with the paint code 4589AA which is the 45-189 on my color chip post (I think)

i see that your book is listing 72 colors - are these the same colors as 71? thanks Brent

As far as I know they were the same codes for 67-72 you might try a post in the paint & body forum for more information - there's a couple of really experienced body/paint techs there that will know more than me
