Re: carpet?

if you try to put flat carpet like off a roll you have to cut it and seam it to fit and no commercial carpet is really meant for a truck.... LMC sells the kids but ive heard mixed reviews on them. CaptKaos a member and vendor here also sells capet kits for our trucks and Ive heard alot of good things about his products and have had no issues with his products ive bought... you may want to look into his carpets.

Re: carpet?

Rockauto.com carries ACC carpet. Plus they usually have a 5% off coupon code.

Re: carpet?

i bought mine from summit about yr or 2 ago and just barely put it in last week. it fits great only complaint is you have to cut out all the holes for the bolts which was a pain in the A$$.

Re: carpet?

sharp box cutter. Make an X over the hole and then cut the circle out.

Re: carpet?

I allways leave the bolts in the flloor and cut Xs on the heads. This makes the holes a lot easier to find. Then just push the carpet down over the bolt and fold the tabs left from the Xs back under. Super easy.

Re: carpet?

I have a crew cab truck and I have a molded carpet kit from ACC. It looks and fits great. I purchase the kit from Dave's Truck Parts in NC. I purchased it at a show in Pigeon Forge, TN and received it a day earlier than expected. FYI, when I installed my carpet, I marked the holes with a silver sharpie then I made the hole with a large nail held by vise grips, then heated it red hot with a torch. I just pierced the carpet then gave the pliers a slight roll to enlarge the hole.
This worked well for me and no chance of getting runners or tears do the road.
