My New Truck
Well I finally found a nice 1968 good enough to buy. It's a C-20 with a fresh 350 with World Products heads and a Turbo 400. Looks to have been repainted sometime in the past. I just plan on driving it the way it is next summer and then I think I will change it to a half ton with power disc brakes. I will use dropped spindles and lowering springs in the rear. Power steering too!

Re: My New Truck
Very nice truck. Why would you want to change it into a half ton?

Re: My New Truck
I will post interior pics for you. It has RED door panels, steering wheel, dash pad and seat. The reason I want to make it a half ton is to get it lower to the ground and put a 3.08 rear gear and 70 series 15 inch tires on it so I can do some serious cruisin'. It will be my daily driver when it is not SNOWIN'. Most likely it will either have a 383 STROKER or maybe a BIG BLOCK.

Re: My New Truck
Princess.. If you check the male DNA you will find a truck gene that causes this phenomenon. Some of us have it mutated so that it sometimes requires 2 , 3 or 4 trucks to keep us normal productive men. So you see it isn't our fault.. kind of like the shoe gene women have...

Re: My New Truck
Princess,
I've got three and my wife's not too thrilled with it - but I did just get here a new 328i, so she's O.K. with my addiction (for now). Your husband has some very nice trucks - have him build you one!

Re: My New Truck
Jim does not own all the CHEVY trucks in this family. Truck #6 belongs to me.
Here are pictures taken at the South Bulter Drag Strip. Guess who won? My shoe DNA beat his truck DNA! the "Princess" - wife of Jim |
