Does anybody sell new tail light harnesses for square bodies?

Thanks for that idea Andrew!... Unfortunately, they don’t have any for square body style fleetsides.

your best bet would be to find one in a junk yard that isnt chopped up or make one. i dont think anyone makes them.... i could be wrong though

Somebody else asked that same question last month. Another member posted this link.

They have a harness but it doesn't come with the plugs...

That is almost perfect but the terminals in the plugs are the main thing screwed up on my harness. If have to create a plug for their harness I might as well rework the one I got.

I felt the same way about the tail light harness till I looked at the black corroded 31 year old wire inside the PVC insulation.

Just use a 4 position square 2x2 Weatherpak with the late 80's pinout.

Yep, I ended up doing the pretty much the same. Got a tail light harness from an ’88 – ’98 and robbed the 4 pin weather pack connectors off of it and soldered them on the ’78 harness. $5 fix

Not sure but could you get a universal 4prong and wire it in if the only thing bad is your plug?
