Opinions on this truck please

I really dont need another project/fun truck here but I found what looks to be like a pretty solid truck and interior for a pretty good price. Three spots of surface rust and a bad cab corner. Owner says the interior is as nice as the pics show and the rest of the body is in great shape. Oh and its a 454 th400 2wd. I was thinking of buying it and parting it out but I would really hate to kill a truck that is still very much drivable.

The asking price is $900 but I think I can get it for around $600. What I'm looking to hear is to stay away and let somebody else buy it

I like it!
It would end up a 1/2 short bed if I had the cash.
Love the bucket seats especially.

Way too nice to part out. Great options, 454, buckets, nice color and great price. I would buy it for sure if it was in my neck of the woods.

way too true man, we get less than nothing around here, at least for that price. I'd buy it now if it were within a reasonable distance, too nice to pass up for the price.

If I do buy it I wont be able to park it in my driveway for a few months, I'll have to park it at my friends farm haha.

I was thinking more about stealing the drivetrain, and interior and swap into a future truck. If I buy it I was thinking of putting a 350/350 in it and use it as a back up crew truck this summer.

I happen to know where this is a nice swb truck no motor or tranny, hhmmmm

I'm going to look at it this afternoon, I spoke with the owner on the phone last night and she told me that she would take $800 before I even asked about the price. I still think I can get her down to $600-650 though, funny how waving cash at someone can help change their mind ha ha. If she wont go that low, I'm gonna pass it up.

I would say buy it and do what you want with it. If you do get it though and part it out, I'll buy the wheels and tires off of it.

Re: Opinions on this truck please

Too nice to part out. I would buy it, clean it up, put some late model 3/4 ton rims on it and drive it. It is optioned out very nicely and that price is a steal for sure.

Re: Opinions on this truck please

That body is straight. - Rare-Just buy it for best price and fix it up a little at a time.

U can always resell it for more after u clean it up, vacuum, and a little tune up.

Could be a mini project.
