Pics of Short Beds with Rallys or Coys

I am debating which way to start swaying the build of my 71 short bed....

a mild drop (2/3...ish) with 15" rally's or a 3/5 drop with some Coy's C57's or C5's....

Let's see your pictures for ideas........truck is probably going to be charcoal gray with a silver top.Name: SN850165.jpg

Re: Pics of Short Beds with Rallys or Coys

I vote for option #1. I love this body style with a mild drop and rallys.

Re: Pics of Short Beds with Rallys or Coys

I have rallys on my 71 cheyenne, but it runs full trim so it's very fitting. This truck is going to have the trim shaved....door handles and marker lights will still be there. I just am not sure if I decide to go with charcoal with a silver top that rallys fit the look. I worry that it would be too trendy of a paint scheme to not run some 17's or bigger........other thoughts? paint color? marina blue off a '67 chevelle maybe?

Oh, I see. You might be right then. I'm sure you've already scrolled through every page of the "lets see pics. . ." thread. Lots of nice trucks and great ideas there. I'm just not very creative, sorry.

Here's mine. Not sure on the drop, probably about 5/7, flat black with charcoal rallies and roof. Not quite what you are talking about, but you get the idea. I tried trim rings and caps, but just wasn't my style, and didn't look right.

I think that if you go with Rallies you HAVE to run a BFG with white letting out. And thats the only time a white lettered out tire looks good in my opinion

One determining factor.... what color is the truck going to be?

Re: Pics of Short Beds with Rallys or Coys

The one pic is when I had only the 2" springs. This rake was too intense to even adjust the headlights to see at nite. The other two are what the 3" in the rear accomplished. I was satisfied with the results. Mild 2/3 drop with ralleys.
