Re: CHALET on CL
Note the actual city location is Marion Indiana. This one is #0600, the seller had it up for sale months ago, but now is a little more aggressive in listing it in multiple cities around the country.

Re: CHALET on CL
yeah, I did not catch that at first, that his posting was in Indiana. Now how cool and different would it be to convert a Chalet to a 2wd. Lower it down and the totally remodel the camper, to modern styling.

Re: CHALET on CL
Last I heard, there was a '76 Chalet shell on a '79 2wd Blazer in Caro, Michigan. Anybody can PM me for the seller's contact info.

Re: CHALET on CL
By the way, the one above was bought by a member in our Chalet forum, but he ended up selling it after all. The new owner may join our group soon.
Meanwhile, here's one of the latest, up in Eagle River Alaska, #1243. http://anchorage.craigslist.org/cto/1899471496.html

Re: CHALET on CL
I saw one of these for sale in Seattle a few years back. It looked clean and the price seemed reasonable. It took a while to sell it. I was interested in it at the time but was looking for a regular truck or Blazer and didn't have the cash.
Wish I would have bought it because now I'm looking for something like it and a Vanagon isn't as cool as a Blazer.

Re: CHALET on CL
I spotted the Denver ad last night as part of my usual rummaging through 'blazer camper' Craigslist searches, and I sent the seller an email suggesting he would be better off retitling his headline with the proper name of the unit which is "4Wheel". Those were aftermarket ones made to be removeable, and there are a decent amount of guys out looking for those in particular since they are more practical that way.
The Siskiyou County one and Billings one are both frustrations to me - the first one doesn't answer emails and there is no other contact info for him, while I've talked to the seller of the Billings one twice now along with emailing him, and he hasn't yet forwarded the build date & serial # for the camper yet. If anybody has better luck getting that info from him, please let me know.
