Re: Favorite Wheels/ Colors
I like whatever color these trucks came in.I`m not good at picking favorite anythings. But,if I could only have one style wheel of my choice it would be an OEM-type wheel wider than stock. That`s my timeless favorite on 4wds,2wds,shortbeds,and longbeds in any color you want or chrome with or without hubcaps, wheelcovers,or beauty rings.

Re: Favorite Wheels/ Colors
For me, it's basic black and steel.
Oh, and my favorite color is green/white top. But, then I am partial I guess.

Re: Favorite Wheels/ Colors
As far as original goes, I like the dark green factory color. Paint the wheels the color of the truck, with dog dish caps, no rings. Oh, and like SpecialK said, "wheels a little wider than stock". When it comes to restomoding I'm into oranges and reds with whatever kind of wheels match the "mood" of the build.

Re: Favorite Wheels/ Colors
I think you will find TT II's will be one of the more favored wheels on these trucks. These wheels are classics in looks and we all know our trucks are classics in themselves. Slots are another wheel that looks very cool. Factory Ralleys are another wheel that looks good on our trucks. As far as colors I agree with Special K ... I think our trucks look good in about any color...

Re: Favorite Wheels/ Colors
Thats too true. I was going to post a picture of his truck, but he beat me to it.
As far a s other choices, TT II's, or stock steel are great. I wish someone mada an 18 or 20 in stock style steel that would take the stock steel hubcaps... wouldnt that look cool with some Michelin Pilots? (say 295-315 40's on he back with 255 45's on the front?) |
