rust repair suggestions?

I am posting pictures below of the rust on my drip rail above both doors bad, and minor stuff around entire thing. To the point where it leaks inside some and there is a bit of bubbling starting to happen inside. I am curious if others have tackled anything like this before. I would like to order one of the out shells for the cab, but not sure I can get rid of all the rust that way? Maybe if I cut the top off and wash it down with ozcoat, even into the cab arms. Anyway what would others suggest?

And that may happen, but other than the drip rail the cab has no issues. Rocker panels, cab corners, everything is perfect except drip rail. Plus the funds for a whole new cab are short to come by.

I agree with cdowns, you need another cab, that is going to get worse not better. You could always cut the top off another but do you really want to do that? A solid cab would be the easiest, least time consuming and overall best in the long run. JMO

Re: rust repair suggestions?

if your cab is good and you got the time and the skill, I would cut the top off and put a good one on. its probably gonna be more labor, but your labor is free (at least that's the way I look at it on my stuff). unless you can find a good cheap cab..maybe you can make one good one out of 2.
