Finally finished gauges :D

Well, a while back i asked in another topic about tach swaps and luckily everything went well with my tach swap. Im just going to give out a small talk about how i did mines .

Here is the pic of the back.

As you can see, I cut a hole in the back very carefully with a kitchen bread knife, lol. Took a while but got the job done. You can also see the black tape where i welded the fuel pump connectors to route the wires to the lower bottom quadrant at the left.

Just got some nuts to connect wires with fuel gauge and kaboom. DONE!

I decide to paint the black cover entirely white from inside and out.(The lights are a lot brighter with some blue LED's i installed.)

It does look nice! I like the white cover too. Even if you don't see it when the gauge bezel is installed over it, just knowing it's there is satisfaction enough (Mine's Bahama Blue on the outside & white on the inside)

LOOKS GOOD!!!
does your tach work?
unfortunately my tach doesn't work. I found a place online that will fix it for $165 tachman.com just FYI

I did the same white paint treatment
gives it a cool halo effect
