WTB: Anyone in TX with blazer buckets F/S?
I am needing 69-72 factory buckets for my 72' blazer project. I am trying to see if anyone in central, or east Texas has any buckets for sale before I commit to buying some that need shipping. Prefer that they be in the greater Houston, San Antonio, or Dallas/Ft. Worth areas. Or if anyone outside of this region that can bring the seats to the Houston, DFW areas in the near future.
I need the complete set up, including all the seat brackets, hardware, and the passenger side hold down. I want seats that have good frames, and preferrably useable seat foams. Not worried about the covering themselves; although I would strongly prefer that the seats still be in the original factory coverings no matter how tattered they are. I also need a blazer hatch, and other blazer CST parts. So if you have that type of stuff for sale as well I would be interested!

Re: WTB: Anyone in TX with blazer buckets F/S?
I was at the pick-n-pull here in San Antonio just before Christmas, and they had a blazer there, supposedly a '71, hard to tell with all the parts gone, but the buckets were in it. I didn't look at them too carefully, so I can't really say what the condition was, other than I do know the vinyl was torn up pretty good, and the foam was not in great shape.

Bump for ya. Too bad I'm not ready to get the racing seats yet. Otherwise I'd hook you up with mine.

Re: WTB: Anyone in TX with blazer buckets F/S?
Well, I went by there this morning and I was about 5 minutes too late, a guys was already pulling them out. Just so you know, they were good frames and mounts, but the foam and covers were shot. I would have bought them had I had the chance.
What condition are you looking for? I will keep my eye out for you.

Re: WTB: Anyone in TX with blazer buckets F/S?
Thanks for the replies everyone!
dfwright, Thanks for the heads up. They probably would have worked. Critter, Big thanks for going to check it out! I wish you would have at least found a part or two you needed still on it for your trouble. I would prefer to find seats that have good foam and frames; but if I found something locally where I didn't have to invest in shipping costs I would be happy with seats that just had good frames and brackets. I don't know why but for me at least Texas is impossible to find blazer parts in!

Re: WTB: Anyone in TX with blazer buckets F/S?
I have a pretty good set of 73 & up buckets with no brackets. The foam and frames are good, but the covers are bad. I think 71-72 covers will fit, but not sure. Also, I can probably get them to Pearland if you're interested.

Re: WTB: Anyone in TX with blazer buckets F/S?
HuggerCST, Thanks for the offering up an option. However I already have a set of 76 blazer buckets I got out of an old parts blazer I used to have. It did cross my mind to put those in there at least until I find correct 69-72 buckets. Thanks!

Don't worry I got a front carpet hold down strip and an inner fuel filler tube cover for a total of $7...yes, $7.

Thats good. Now I don't feel so bad. Seven dollars for a chrome carpet hold down and filler neck; sweet!
