I Smell A Rat!
I've noticed all these old junkers sitting behind a local business since moving here in April, and finally got the nerve to ask around about them. One turns out it has a 454 in it and it's supposed to run perfectly ( someone stole the starter though ). The guy wants $850 for the truck - it's an '81 crew cab.
This rat should nicely replace the 250 in my '68. I hope I can swap the whole drivetrain right in, rad and all. Anyone done this? Brian

It should be a direct bolt in if you use the motor mount towers from the 81 might have to drill new holes though.
