best seat covers & door panels??

I was just curious who makes the best reproduction OEM seat covers and door panels out there.

Was looking at Brothers & Classic Industries as they both have good sales going. Brothers panels are $45 cheaper, but with a full order (over $500), does not offer free shipping, whereas Classic Industries is offering 15% off (as Brothers) AND free shipping with an order for $500. Because of the sale, however, they will not price match Brothers.

I was thinking of getting seat covers and everything else through CI, and then the door panels and a dash pad through Brothers, but then thought they might not match up and might be a bad idea.

Anyway, I'm hoping your responses help me make up my mind.

Think I'm going with the dark green metallic interior for a '69 GMC.

These guys do some real good work. His wife does all the sewing and is real nice. So it's a Mom /Pop deal. I don't know if they do door panels. I have received some of the houndstooth stuff and it is top quality. But I would rather keep a Mom/ Pop in business if their quality and business ethics are good. They are in Columbia, Tn. She will even send swaths(SP) at no charge thru the mail if there is any doubt on the color..

These are the covers they made for my BB's. Remember in some cases you get what you pay for.

Re: best seat covers & door panels??

I have PUI bucket seat covers in my 71'. The beading is starting to crack a little bit already. If I do them over, I will go with truckworld brand seat covers. Door panels is hit and miss. I still prefer searching for nice OEM door panels on here or in yards. I know 70-71 door panels to me, are lack luster. If you are having a interior guy do the work, buy the unassembled door panels to wrap over original metal panels. The reproduction assembled door panels come on plastic door panels that aren't the greatest. Trevor

Re: best seat covers & door panels??

Where does one find truckworld seat covers?

Good to know on the door panels. I might do that.

Sammy, your seats look great. However, this is a low budget restoration, so don't think I'll go that route.

Re: best seat covers & door panels??

I would either look up truckworld, or I would contact board member "YellowBlazer" He sells both I believe. What do your original door panels look like? Trevor

Re: best seat covers & door panels??

Oh, they're covered by some ridiculuos foam material with some goofy white cloth. haha. I get the truck Friday, so I'll know more then.

I sent him a PM. Hopefully he'll get it.

I'm surprised there hasn't been more responses. I'm guessing many people have purchased repro seat covers and door panels/covers.

Re: best seat covers & door panels??

I trade for a set from tim Christian a while back and they are great covers! I do not know the brand, but do know they they are not PUI. They installed without problems.
