Re: Pics of the 72 with ECE 4/6 Drop
Now, that looks like a cat about to pounce.
Is that the stock rear end? I ask because of all the talk about different widths for different years, and I want to remember what to expect for looks with a 71-72 rear end under the bed.

Re: Pics of the 72 with ECE 4/6 Drop
I wanna be careful not to jack the thread, but this is a great time to point out things I'm looking at.
Your truck has about the same height as JWall's but the wheels are not tucked in in the rear as much. Instead of the "cat ready to pounce" look, the purple truck is something more akin to a race truck--which is the look I want this time around, too. JWall's looks like stock Rallye width, offset and backspacing, right? Purple's looks like wider or at least more offset rears than front?

Hey nice truck. Can you tell me what size tires you are running. They look like 8" rims. Thanks

Re: Pics of the 72 with ECE 4/6 Drop
I was told it was a shade darker than the original color. I believe the original color is the 523 blue (but could be the 510 blue)... The previous owner is doing a little more research on it for me. But i'm sure some of the guys around here could figure it out by the pics too.

Re: Pics of the 72 with ECE 4/6 Drop
JWall, what size tires do you have all around? They look like a good proportion and I am switching over to those style wheels in the spring.
Thanks -Jeff |
