Re: Pics of drops and wheel set ups Please
Wheels are pretty much knock offs i found on CL. i just did the disc brake conversion and 5x5 axle in the rear so i had to find some rims quick to keep driving. they have a Panther center cap so i guess they're supposed to look like them. tires came with the rims and are 265/35/22.
Like i said above, i did everything at once so once i put it all back together i just decided to stick with the 5" drop in the rear. i might try 6" soon or keep the excuse that "its not low enough" so i have to get bags. haha TOMATRZ, i dont mean to jack your post but i think the additional info will help you. i think you need to lower that truck quite a bit so the wheels/tires fill the wheel well.

Re: Pics of drops and wheel set ups Please
I have 2 1/2" Drop Spindles in Front along with a 3" Drop Spring.
In back I went with a 4" Drop Spring and a 2" Drop Block for a Total of 5.5 in Front and 6" in back. Currently running 15" B.F. Goodrich Tires.

I bought everything (to get it to where it is today) at CPP.... (Clasic Performance Parts). It was a Kit that contained the Frpnt/Rear Springs and (4) Custom Nitrogen Filled Shocks. The Shocks were shorter in Length, to make up for the Shorter Travel with a lowered ride. I also bought the 2" Drop Blocks from CPP, and that was the last "puzzle piece" that got the Rear, down to where I wanted it. Theres many more pictures at my website. Just click on the Link below inj my Sig. I THINK the Kit was about $299.99 and the Blocks were around $70.00 I then had my Mechanic install everything. When I originally got the Truck, the previous owner had just Torched and cut the original springs. It was a God Awful/Stiff ride. Once the Spring/shock kit was installed, I didn't hesitate in driving it EVERYWHERE!

Thanks Boog.
Ya know sometimes I get frustrated because things don't hapen "Fast Enough", instead of just enjoying the ride.

Re: Pics of drops and wheel set ups Please
My 67 stepside uses 2in drop springs and 2-1/2 in drop spindles in front with 6 in drop springs in the rear to get it sitting level, not that a$$ high pose these trucks usually have. Then I put 8x17's in front and 10x17s in the rear running 235-60 series tires in front and 285-60's in the rear. The total diameter of tires front and rear is 31 inches. That raises the truck back to stock ride height. A quick glance says it's a stocker...you have to look close to see that it isn't. With a 300 pound water bladder in the bed this truck squats and goes....but then it's supposed to!

Re: Pics of drops and wheel set ups Please
I have a 68 stepside that i am wanting to drop. I only have the money to do a spring drop right now. I have heard if you do a 3" front spring drop they can be really hard to align, is this true? Also I heard if you do a 5" rear spring drop you might need to "c" notch the frame, is this true? I was wanting to go a 2/4 but if i can go a 3/5 and not have alignment issues or have to due a "c" notch that would be great. any advise you can give me would be great. Thanks guys. I am running a 235/70/15 in the front and 275/60/15 in the rear just so you know
