edelbrock 1407
Is a Edelbrock 1407 carb too much for a stock 350 with just headers and true exhaust.

Yes. But it'll run fine if you tune it correctly.

Not if you tune it properly. If you leave the calibration as it comes from edelbrock then will likely run very rich and waste fuel.

www.edelbrock.com has tuning tips and techniques for their carbs. The 1406 is jetted (.100) for performance (manual choke) while the others in the series have slightly smaller main jets.
