burb rear end help???!!!

My brother just bought a 1978 burb and it says 1G80 locking differential but it does not say what gears are in the truck.

Just as there is a rpo code for >G80 : AXLE POSITRACTION, LIMITED SLIP<
There will be a seperate code for the axle ratio; for example my suburban has "GU6" which is: >GU6 : AXLE REAR, 3.42 RATIO<
