Re: tires

235/85r16 i posted pics of the rims painted and not because i feel it makes the tire look different size and fit, obviously still same size but the appearances seem different (to me)

Re: tires

I have LT245/75/16 on mine, It originally had 7.50x16 tires on it, The 245's are shorter and I like that.

Re: tires

is this gonna be a hauling truck, or just for cruising?
An LT tire will beat the crap out of you if you are always unloaded. In this case, you are better off with a tire intended for a late model SUV or 1/2 ton late model truck. A P rated tire.
If this will be used for hauling, then stick with the LT rubber.

Re: tires

Nice truck, looks great for 3K. That is actually what I paid for this one in 1997 with 50K original miles on it. It has 65K miles on it now and is all original except the wheels and hub caps. The wheels are 16x7 Ford van wheels, they have the deeper offset than the GM wheels, I think they look better. I do have a really nice set of caps I might sell, but they are not cheap.

Re: tires

265x75x16 Coursers on 8" Raceline Renegades. I've had good wear from these tires and they are pretty quit on the highway but still have enough tread to not get stuck easy.
