Question What is this

Hey guys i bought some fenders off a guy and on the inner fender well was this and i have no idea what it is or even if it came on from factory the fenders sre off the 91 blazer thanks guys

looks like an old trailor brake resistor. you adjusted the amount of voltage going to the brakes with this

yeah that's what it looks like, note the tekonsha mfg. name on the bottom, or top in the pic. Never seen one like that before.
