Jeep door checks

I purchased a set of the rear door checks for a Jeep. I thought I read they had a couple of stops on them. I had pictured the stops as looking either like a notch or a bump on the arem, but I don't see either. Have any of you bought these and have experience with them?

Re: Jeep door checks

I have put the jeep door checks on two trucks. I did not find 2 notches
noticeable also. I thought they did not open as far. That should help keep it from creasing the door. Yes, used ones are much cheaper. Just my thoughts.

Re: Jeep door checks

Do any of you have a pic or two showing the indent or actual part that holds the door open? Maybe I got the wrong ones.

Alright I cant seem to find door checks at Kragen's or autozone's web site. They not carry them or do they have a special name?

Re: Jeep door checks

I found mine online at a decent price. They look just like the ones Chevy Fleetside posted, so maybe they'll work!
