Bench seat, lower foam question

Does anyone sell just the lower bench seat foam? Most vendors appear to sell both upper and lower only. I just need the lower foam.

Any ideas?

Jim

Re: Bench seat, lower foam question

there are a few posts on rebuilding your seat foam you may want to do a search...I saved on out of a truck I was scrapping because my seat bottom is junk...I wish I could buy the lower seat cover??? what do you think the odds of that happening are....and in the right color...LMAO

Re: Bench seat, lower foam question

I have tried the local shops. The shops here could not repair the foam or replace it. I will try some shops in Grand Rapids as I may have better luck then with the folks here.

Re: Bench seat, lower foam question

I have a set in the garage, let me look at it and see the condition, it was good when I took the seat a part a couple of years ago.

Re: Bench seat, lower foam question

In my 69 that I picked up a year ago , the bench seat foam feels OK under the cloth cover but the thing is REALLY bouncy so do you think I have a foam or spring issue?
I don't know what a correct one feels like
The local upholstery shop said he could do foam, springs and cover for $400

Re: Bench seat, lower foam question

I definitely have a foam problem as it has been repaired twice and the foam is deteriorating.

PM sent to PICKMUP.
