Im looking for pictures of red or orange Blazers/Jimmys with white interiors. Topless would be even better.

Re: Red outside White inside
Here are a few.....
It's not much to look at, but it's the color combo you were interested in. I need to get some better outside pics of it. I think I took some pics when we were trail riding up in the mountains recently. |

I have reread your reply now several times regarding “real deal” and I’m still not sure what you meant? I’ll take all the pictures I can get of blazers/jimmys with either white or parchment interior with red or orange exterior. Most of what I have seen has had black interiors. I’m thinking red exterior, red carpet with parchment upholstery. |

Just goofin' off of your previous wording. You were reffering to blazers that 'appear' to look original and I took that as "made to look" as in, rebuilt or restored on purpose to look original. My comment was merely intended to point out that Bouncy's blazer 'is' original, not built or restored to 'appear' as original. |

Re: Red outside White inside
Thats why I asked.
By original appearing I meant in stock form, not altered. Some survivor owners are pretty touchy on the subject of authenticity. Not for me to judge so I dont. The reason for my comment was that Im just starting to build the truck I wanted to build ten or twenty years ago but sometimes I question if its still the same truck I want today. When I was twenty something the only reason I would have had for driving a stock truck would have been for a lack of funds and even that wouldnt keep it stock for long. Now I find myself walking right past a custom at a show to go drool over the stockers!?! A different day!! |

Re: Red outside White inside
I love the stock vehicles and I love the complete customs. Mine current Blazer is stock - original paint, engine, etc. I've owned two others that both had 35" tires and I'd love to have a bagged 2wd. I have thought about putting custom wheels on my truck, but I really dig the steel wheels and pizza cutter tires. You'll probably change your mind several times during your build, but that's what makes it fun.

Re: Red outside White inside
Thanks for the pictures guys, I really appreciate it.
Hugger, any chance yours has red carpet? VT, your turn the page remark really got me thinking, I even broke out a couple old photo albums. Definitely should have taken more pictures. |

Re: Red outside White inside
How about WAY before shots??? I really wish I had taken more pictures. So many cars and trucks from my past that I would love to see again even though they werent anything special. In fact most of them were junk but they were all a small part of me. If you are a youngn and reading this, take my word for it, take pictures. Lots of pictures. You will enjoy them later. So damn many memories
Anyway here you go
I believe this one was 87-89. My wife (then girlfriend) loved driving the pig. You can also see the my 79 CJ5 behind my folks new grand am This one would have been around 90. It was a great truck from Missouri that unfortunately became someone elses before it was finished. I hauled this Blazer back from Oklahoma about 98. Soon after it was home my wife became pregnant with our first. I hit the panic button and went on a selling spree. |

Re: Red outside White inside
Really awesome, thanks for taking the time.
Brought back a lot of 'car' memories for me just reading your post. Good advice to the younger folks on here too. I still get all choked up when I talk about my first car, I had my 69 RoadRunner all through high school...whew, those where some great times! If it hasn't been said yet, welcome to the board! Okay, gotta post a pic of it: Last edited by vtblazer; 02-05-2010 at 11:14 AM. |

Re: Red outside White inside
Thanks for the welcome. Kinda snuck in the back door I guess.
I owned a few Chryslers in high school too. None of mine were as shiny as yours though. Belvedere II, Barracuda (fast back), Polara, and a Challenger. The first two I never drove. The Polara was in mint condition and a two door. Even though it was a grandmas car, I loved it. Here are a couple of pictures of the challenger wearing my signature color. My dad worked at a frame shop that also had a fleet of wreckers. Anything impounded and left for more than (if I remember correctly) 90 days was sold. I picked up several treasures that would later become my drivers. The challenger was one of them. $150 and I owned me a muscle car. It was a Texas car but still had a few rust spots. It also had R/T badges but I never verified. Heck, what did I care, 383, 727 council shift, posi and 160 mph speedo. The owner actually brought keys in and said he didnt want it because the rear end was junk and he couldnt afford to fix it. Turned out somebody had set the emergency brakes and they frozen up. A couple of sessions with a can of W-40 and I drove the care home. I also bought my first blazer this way. It was hauled out of a rental garage after the renter skipped town. $75!! It was a 70, lifted with 38 Gateway Gumbo Monster Mudders (love saying that) with white wagons. It was pretty much a complete truck minus front clip. Ended up putting a 67 front end on it and giving it a nice coat or grey primer. Of course, no pictures!! |

No carpet in mine, just a rubber mat.
