3/4 lowering kit - who to buy from
I'm looking for a complete kit (if it exists) for a 3/4 drop for a 1980 Step. Which company is best, are there things I should look for? I found Belltech? I think is the name, is their stuff OK?

I'm very happy with my Western Chassis products. My truck is 2.5/4 and very driveable. I daily drove it for 3 or 4 years and I never worried about what I drove over or how fast. Lower looks cooler, though. Slonaker |

Yeah, that's what I'm afraid of. LOL A 4/6 is still drivable right? Like speed bumps etc...
Is that what you have? Last edited by Alex1; 02-03-2010 at 12:49 PM. |

Re: 3/4 lowering kit - who to buy from
This is what I'm looking at:
'73-'87 C-10/C-15 4/6 Deluxe Drop Kits: For all the drop of a 4"/6" and the best ride quality money can buy, go with the Deluxe Drop (Option A) using new rear Smooth-Rider leafs and shackles instead of the flip kit. Aside from this change in the rear componentry, the kit is otherwise identical to the 4"/6" Economy Drop and includes C-sections. For the guy who wants the look of the 4"/6" drop, but still wants the capability to haul a load or tow a boat, our Deluxe Drop (Option B) adds an AirLift Slamair kit with 1800# of load leveling capacity to the rear flip kit you see 2 kits above it the 4"/6" Economy Drop. This kit keeps your loaded truck level after it's been dropped. Have your cake and eat it too! '73-'87 C-10 / C-15 4"/6" Deluxe Drop-A: $779.95 This one! plus shocks. '73-'87 C-10/C-15 4"/6" Deluxe Drop-B: $719.95 Don't forget to add 4 Nitro-Slammer shocks to your kit! Better ride quality (less bottoming & bouncing) for just $44.95 each ! |
