Lightbulb Can it be done?

Can you convert a gmc core support to a chevy by removing the inner headlight buckets? And if so does it matter which year you use? I have a 70 gmc support, would that make any year chevy if you removed the buckets? Thanks in advance guys.

Re: Can it be done?

Light sizes are different, bucket size and position are different... I'd find a Chevy one... they're not even that expensive new I think

Re: Can it be done?

No you have to completely remove the GMC buckets and weld the Chevy buckets in. Sell the GMC support and buy a Chevy support.

Re: Can it be done?

Actually, VA72C10 is selling one. I was lined up to buy the grille and rad support, but someone gave me a rad support here, so I'm just getting the grille itself now

(hope I didn't break any rules crosslinking that, sorry if I did)
