Carb and intake instalation ??
Well, I just bought a Holley # 4175 carb with a electric choke from ebay. As soon as I can get a few more things together, I will instal the carb along with a Edelbrock Performer Intake manifold and a HEI distributor. Right now the only question I have is where to hook the wires from the choke and the distributor. I am sure I will have more questions later, but if anyone has any advice now I would appreciate it.

The electric choke wire needs to come off a ignition "ON" hot wire from the fuse box. I believe the HEI wire should come off the solenoid to the distributor. That way you'll get the 12 plus volts to run in properly.

The HEI wire needs to run to Ign unfused in the fuse box. The yellow wire at the soleniod only provdes 12 volts while the starter is cranking. Also the yellow & white wires can be clipped out of the system.....69 longhorn.
