4x4 upgrade

can 4x4 suspension from a mid 80's shortbed truck be put on a 1970 chevy blazer that is a 4x4 and if so, would their be benefits to doing so. Thanks for any help.

Just about anything can be done, but I don't see what the advantage would be. I'm no expert though so hopefully someone smarter than me will pipe in.

The rear springs will bolt right in with no modifications. The front ones on the mid 80's are I believe 3" longer. They can certainly be used, but you'll have to move the front upper shackle hanger. The longer front springs will give you a better ride...

Yes but if your only doing it to save some funds, then it's the wrong direction, mods will be needed as AJ pointed out.

TONS of suspension mods are available to us and spending the time doing the research will pay off huge for you in the end.
