Can somebody tell me the length of a stock 59 Chevy drive shaft from centre of the u-joint holes?
Thanks |

Re: Drive shaft length for a 59 chevy SB fleetside
I can look in the attic this weekend, I think I still have my original driveline. It was a short fleetside 3 speed. I know I have 3-4 up there from 50-60's rigs.

Re: Drive shaft length for a 59 chevy SB fleetside
The 'shaft in my '55 2nd gen came disconnected, but I assume it's correct, and the truck has an original drive train (235, manual trans). It measures 53-1/2", u-joint to u-joint. Hope this helps.
