Factory Column Length
How long is the factory column? If I wanted one a little shorter than the factory one would I have to change anything?

Re: Factory Column Length
I'm sure someone has the link, but there are step by step directions in the FAQ on pushing the stock column in a few inches. It's a HUGE improvement.

Re: Factory Column Length
Thanks for the input, I want to get a chrome column and found some for a decent price. I just don't know how to pick my length. Any clue how I would go about picking what size I want? They come in 30" 32" and 33" lengths. I was thinking the 30" but I'm not sure.
Edit- Here is the one I'm looking at. http://www.classicperform.com/Store/...cks/ECSC-S.htm

Re: Factory Column Length
Anyone know how to go about measuring which length column I will like best? Or is this kind of a buy and try it situation?

Re: Factory Column Length
I think you will want a 33 inch. Some of the postings on ebay include a a picture with measurements so you can see how they measure them. You may have to adapt the column to the shaft that goes to the steering box; it is different than your stock setup. I understand that they also have a painted direct replacement tilt wheel but it is a bit pricey.
