Re: Repair panels help!!!!
I have had good luck with the following:
Tri-Pro Key Parts Tabco I have used all of these on both sides of my Blazer rebuild. Newer patch panels seem to be better in fitment - but... I will also mention that all panels will need 'massaging' to make them fit correctly. The parts are not - 'plug and play' each one will take time, work and maybe some fabbing to get the result you desire. |

Their are a variety of manufacturers for parts. Most in Taiwan and believe it or not still some made in USA. No one makes the SWB for the K5's yet. I can understand your question most all companies claim their parts are the best. We sell Triplus for the majority of these trucks. We also sell Gordon, Golden Legion and others. Some of the parts we sell for the 58-59 trucks are made in Michigan. If you stick with Triplus you will be alright. Of course we sell Triplus but I am trying to give an honest opinion not a biased one. Some companies got a good rep for parts then later sell less quality parts to. It always pays to ask. |
