People ask me what year my truck is and i always ask what part they are referring to! lol. Makes me think of that johnny cash song. My truck is a 67, 68, 72, and 69. I love her no matter what. Lets see who else has a nice rig that happens to be pieced together. please share.

Re: Johnny Cash song anyone?
Did you get it one piece at a time? Bet it cost more than a dime. We'll know its you when you come into our town.
So drive it around in style, and drive everybody wild....you have the only one there is around. |

Re: Johnny Cash song anyone?
That song also fits my '67 C-10 swb stepper which started life as a '67 C-20 lwb stepper.
It still looks like heck because it has been put on the back burner while I work on my '71 lwb stepper. The '67 is made up of '67 cab, front clip, steering and 4 speed transmission. The frame is swb of unknow year, probably '69. The suspension and rearend are from a '68. The bed is from a '96 sport-side. The l6 engine is a '70. The gas tank is from a '71. The captain seats are from a unknow year mini-van. I am sure it has other years also, but I can not remember what. I have to remember what part came from what year when getting repair parts. I guess my truck is just a Mutt. I do have a year correct step-side bed that will replace the '96 bed. Danny
