'71 Jimmy worth buying?

I found 71 Jimmy for sale & hoped to find original seats & decent truck. Found relatively rust free - door bottoms good - no holes in pan - a few pinholes in thresholds - auto & a/c - doors open & close well - grille straight, but pitted. Bad news was original interior gone - undercarriage shows signs of 4 wheeling - tailgate bent. No engine, but that's OK w/me. They are asking $4000 - any suggestions? Glovebox say's Cheyenne interior - did Jimmy's have Cheyenne?
Thanks Mike

Re: '71 Jimmy worth buying?

Based on others I've seen in complete and decent condition that seems a little pricey to me...

Thanks - I'm in the dark on this one. I've got 3 Blazers to restore & wanted one to steal parts from.

You can find running good and complete old interior with a little rust for $4000 all day.

Re: '71 Jimmy worth buying?

thanks - It seems all the Blazers/Jimmys I look at have significant rust. If anyone has one with good body & interior, I've got engines & drive parts for several.
