What is this?? WIW

The owner says its a 67 short box. Heres the vin and the number on the frame.
Also what the paint code "special" mean?

I have a 67 that use to be a military truck and it says special paint on the spid too.

that frame stamping does not appear to be GM.
what;s with the 1-24-99? is that when it hit the auction?

from looking at my lmc catalog:
CS147z140 = 2wd, 6 cyl, 1/2t,pu,1967, built in fremont plant
CS10704 = 2wd,6cyl, 1/2t, 42" cowl to axle, cab and stepside box.

Thanks. The kid said it was a short box 67 stepside. Said the frame has been powder coated. I don't know what the # on the frame mean. Looks stock.

Those #'s or a similar # are stock and are on all frames. They are some sort of part # for the frame of something.

Agree - those are probably some kind of part number and coding internal to the frame supplier (AO Smith, or whoever manufactured the frame itself).
