new take-offs fit on 68 1 ton??
rims are off of a 03 chevy 1 ton(non dually)--will they fit on 67-72 8-lug pattern(68 1 ton) any help would be greatly appreciated.

They will fit but, the backspacing is way off and the hub size is too large

The wheels i got for my motorhome are 1976-2000 Chev 1 ton. I am guessing that split rims ended in 1975 and there was something that changed in 2001.

I got take offs from Elkhart '02 and they fit on my 69 1 ton Longhorn, no problems.

Pierce I would like to see pictures of those wheels on your truck. Everybody is always talking about backspacing and I would like to actually see them.

Yes, they will fit. The 8 lug wheels are all pretty much the same 5" backspacing (and center hole dia.) from the early days until the current trucks. 6 lug backspacing changed when they went to IFS.

Here's a pic, the one thing I don't like about them is they have these fake plastic lugs that screw onto a double threaded lug that hold on the center caps.

Thanks pierce for the pics . I thought you were running the new chrome style wheels. I have those on my 3/4 and they fit fine. I was looking for pics of the newer stle on our trucks. anybody running those have pics (like these)
