Nonhog's garage

Started a thread about my new shop back in 07 and its still not done, not by a long shot. Here is that thread.... http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...=digging+holes

Lately I've been working on my back wall of the middle bay. Trying to get a safe place to weld as well as adding some insulation. Been a slow go, whats new
My plan is to jump back on the Amazon and get it to driver staus as soon as the work area mini project (doesn't seem mini) is done.
Then back to the V8 Volvo swap. Too many irons in the fire. Oh brother !

When did the 5/8" sheetrock get so heavy ? Almost ready to clean up my mess and start using the shop again.

I am also a member of hotrodding.com and someone started a thread there for people to showcase their shops. I have yet to find one here. If there isn't one maybe this should be it. Or start a new one with a different title to entice people to it. What do you guys think?

Some people are like Slinkies... not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

Re: Nonhog's garage

I just put two and two together... You were the one that had welder envy on my build thread... I have shop envy. your shop is looking great and its way bigger than mine. But then I would just take on more projects. Besides I cant keep track of stuff in my shop. Just wanted to tell you great job.

Re: Nonhog's garage

A little bit of progress. I am confirming that I have no future as a sheetrocker.
I have a friend that did it for a living and he was (is) real good. Each step with him was artwork 3 coats, ready for paint.
Each of my coats are equally disasterous. Might take 5 or 6 coats to get out of the mess I am making
