Repro center AC vent?
I bought a reproduction chrome center AC vent awhile back from LMC and just got around to installing it. Went to install the original studs from the old vent and there are no threaded holes in the repro one...anyone else ran into this problem?

Re: Repro center AC vent?
Original studs will self-tap in the holes (carefully).

Re: Repro center AC vent?
I just did mine a week ago and found the same thing.I ran a tap in there first because I was afraid of splitting the plastic.I think it was a 1/4 x 20 tap but i'm not sure.Went slow and very carefully and worked out fine.I also put just a dab of adhesive on the gasket to hold it on while I was bolting it in place, so much easier.
