72 is being delivered tomorrow - new to the Board
I bought this 72 in Saskatchewan and had it trucked in - arriving tomorrow. It is a 4x4 short box air cab from Arizona.
My first vehicle was a bright yellow 72 that I had for 10 years. I turned 50 last week and my wife told me I could buy any vehicle I wanted because that was a better way to deal with a mid life crisis than getting a girlfriend. I told her the 72 was cheaper than a Porsche, so its all good. Looking forward to participating on the Board... |

Looks like you bought that out of Martensville? I have been to that dealer and he usually has a nice bunch of 67-72's for sale.
Very nice buy.

Nice truck! I have a 72 fleetside myself. The only thing that I would change on it would to remove the lower trim molding that looks like wood trim and just keep the upper trim. It's a sharp looking truck. Take a bunch of pics inside and out and post them when you get it. Good luck.

Thanks for all the comments. I will get some photos when I am organized. I am going to take it to my cottage in BC and use it to move the boat around, etc. I was kind of looking for one that was a little more run down (read: cheaper) but it was really hard to find a SWB 4x4. I have a short garage and I wanted the four wheel drive to be able to pull the boat up the steep ramp. I got the truck from a RV guy in Warman Saskatchewan, just out of Saskatoon. He said he has 14 of these trucks (2wd) and he has several nice ones avertised on autotrader.ca.
