6 lug rally at a decent price? Where?
With all the offset/backspace nightmares relating to newer wheel choices I now think I may go back in time and just get some rallys. With that said I have been looking for some 6 lug rally's that I can paint my body color and add the trim ring and cap and can't seem to find them for less than $200/wheel which is insane to me for a basic 15x8 and 15x10 wheel...Perhaps I am missing the vendor that isn't marking these up through the stratosphere and you guys know where that is? thanks...

Re: 6 lug rally at a decent price? Where?
I recently found a set of 73 and up 6 lug truck ralleys for $30 on Craigslist. I've sold many used sets for under $100. If you want Corvette style, check out Wheel Vintiques. OEM is better though as I have heard that the offshore repros sometimes do not run true and rust more easily.

Re: 6 lug rally at a decent price? Where?
I bought a reproduction set of vette rally wheels on eBay a couple of years ago and they were a good deal. Now they are plastic caps and trim rings. They shipped they through USPS to my door in Canada for a real good price.
I looked at the cost of buying used wheels then cleaning them up, painting, new trim rings and caps I was near the cost of reproduction wheels. Last time I did that after I had cleaned them up I found out one wheel was out of balance and was useless.

Yes summit racing sells the Wheel Vintiques for $75 a piece, plus the price of caps and rings.

Wow, summit does have good prices, looks like I still need to figure out the backspacing I need at the front with my CPP Modular spindle setup and the stock 69 rear though...time to get out the tape measure!

Re: 6 lug rally at a decent price? Where?
So I did a quick eBay check for rally wheels.
Corvette style rally wheels, available in 6 lug, for $375 with trim rings and centre caps. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NEW-C...item27b187c211

You can also try earlywheel.com they have good prices with custom backspacing and they also have powdercoating options.

These guys did my 15x8's, then my 15x12's and finally my 15x14's once I knew they would fit. Excellent work and they will be the ones to build any other ralley wheels I ever need!!!!

Re: 6 lug rally at a decent price? Where?
I like that David`s place...thank! Got it bookmarked.
O/T: They sell Corvette-style Rallyes for Fords?Does anyone actually run GM factory-look wheels on a Ford?GM makes better looking stuff an all that, but that just seems odd and I can`t imagine a Ford guy going that route.

Re: 6 lug rally at a decent price? Where?
There are lots in Washington. The problem is, because they are used, the venders in Washington can't sell them to you. Its some B. S. that the state says they have to comply whith autowrecker rules and regulations to sell used parts. Being that I live in Canada I can only guess that this is why you don,t see the Washington venders in the for sale section much/ if any more. So all your local parts will be getting scrapped and crushed unless the local government can be made to change there narrow minded, head up their buts mentality.
