Vin ????

I was wondering if there is a way to know if a truck is a longbed or shortbed just by looking at the vin?

Re: Vin ????

There should be a model number on your SPID label. Heres a link to decode VIN and model. It will tell you.

Re: Vin ????

in the actual VIN... no. You can't even tell if it is a step or a fleet bed by the VIN (talkin chevy, not GMC)

Re: Vin ????

If you have the spid decal in the glove box it also lists the wheelbase...
115, is Short Bed
127, is Long Bed
