Finally made some progress, thought I'd share
Just got my frame back from sandblasting/painting this weekend and finally got to install the CPP parts that were stacked up in my garage. I haven't started a build thread, but I have pics from the beginning of all this madness. I want to get a little closer to the final product before I start the build thread since it'll probably be another year or two before she's driving. This is my '69 in my signature below.

Re: Finally made some progress, thought I'd share
Still no build thread, since this thing is taking forever it would just bore everyone to death... Here are some pics of the frame I from this weekend - the chassis is finally finished, (yes I should have added all the bracing before I had it painted the first time and it's things like this that make this build is take so long!) now it's time to start installing the mountain of parts I've acquired over the past year and a half!

Re: Finally made some progress, thought I'd share
Well, I dont' know the 'right' way to measure torsional rigidity, but I put my jack under the left front frame horn up where the bumper mounts and the left front tire only comes off the ground 3" before the other front tire lifts completely off the ground. I didn't try this in the back, put the frame overall seems pretty stiff. I mainly did this to keep everything from turning into a wet noodle when I drop the hammer on my roller cammed 468/5 spd combo when I go to the track or throw it hard into a corner.
