68 C20 50th at work
Well I bought the truck to drive it.
So here is it helping me get wood. Oh yeah, 90,000 original mile truck, original paint and a 396. Here it is the first few times, I was just dropping and skidding to a log pile.

And here it is with my trailer behind hauling wood back to the year. Probably 1.25 cords on this load.

Nice to see them doing what there were designed and built to do. I think they are happier when working and contributing. They don't like to just sit.

Looks great man. I love them 50ths. I have a 68 Longhorn as my daily driver and haul lots of firewood and mulch with it.

Glad to see you are putting her to good use. Looks right at home hauling that load of wood, just think I was going to part that old girl out!

It pulls the load very easily. I guess I shouldn't be surprised, but I am used to the Duramax pulling the trailer. Anybody know how much torque a L66 396 had?
