Anybody ever us the Mark IV under Dash AC Unit?
I kind of like the idea of installing a unit separate from the heating system. Vintage air makes a remake of this unit with updated insides. Anyway, they say it actually is cooler than most other units because the air isn't traveling through duct work. Opinions? If you have installed one do you have any pics? Thanks.

This is my plan to use one of these. Since I am trying to go for the old school look, I think it would look cool. I would agree, it should work better and be much simpler to install. Haven't seen anyone with pics though...

That is my take as well. Simpler install, more retro and less money. Vintage is set to begin shipping these in a couple of months. Around $700 for everything and enough power to cool a large sedan.
