I need to remove the fleetside longbed from my1972 pickup. How heavy is this going to be and how many hands will I need. Also is there any tips as to the best way to do this.

Re: Heavy Lifting
4 guys, one on each corner. also make sure you have a place to set it that wont crush the bottom of the sides. double check for a ground strap before you try and lift it. you also can take off the tailgate if you want to lighten the load.

Re: Heavy Lifting
Removing the rear tires helps too, you don't have to lift it over the tires. Then you can also drop the frame a little lower.

Re: Heavy Lifting
Sure, NOW they do. 3000 years ago they had a lot less dust and sand accumulated on them.
