Shock question
I am installing my lowering shocks and need help!! No I'm not asking someone to come help but I do have some cold ones if you just can't stop yourself...The shocks came with sleeves in the box which fit just fine in the bushings but (you had to know that was coming) the CPP supplied bolts are to large for the sleeves and too small for the bushings. should I install the sleeves and step down to smaller bolts?

Have you called CPP? Sometimes the parts are shipped with the wrong hardware. Smart @$$ kids I guess.

All of the tech lines & Jeff's line were busy with a 10 minute wait. Each shock has 2 sleeves, 1 has the correct ID and the other was too small. I decided to spread the sleeve enough to allow the bolt to go thru. It worked!! I then bolted up my panhard/tracbar to center my rearend. I was going to put my tires on and adjust at ride height. Wrong, my 285/70 BFG's won't clear the lip of the wheelwell and the drum. I think it is time for a cold drink of water and scratch my head for a while.

Well the back half is done, 5" CPP springs, shocks, tracbar & shock relocation , Now I have to find time for the front. It will get a complete rebuild plus 2" springs and 2 1/2" spindles. The rallye wheels are on the floor in the garage waiting for new tires which will help the look.

Yes, I got everything from them except the rebuild parts.
