My Dads 68 Crew Cab
Hey ive been a member here for some time but i have never posted pics of my Dads 68 CrewCab he built. He nicknamed it the "subduelly". its a 71 suburban cab with a 68 clip and bed. the 'hips" are lengthened and narrowed step side fenders. the interior is based of a 67 chevy nova (his other car). its powered by a 454 backed by a th400. this rig has made several trips to the swap meet at Lowes Motor Speedway.

Re: My Dads 68 Crew Cab
i LOVE my burb......but...drool....drool.....drool.....
now hitch up a nice triple axle 5th wheel or toy hauler behind it and you have the ultimate travel rig! put a sport bumper on the rear and you will be able to match any new dually off the show room floor for style!! Last edited by capev86; 06-17-2010 at 09:57 PM. |

Re: My Dads 68 Crew Cab
Nice!!!!
I've been to Lowe's many times and never seen it, I'll have to keep my eye out for it... which field? I only recently discovered the outside green fields! Just as a side note, Lowe's dropped their sponsorship and it's now the Charlotte Motor Speedway, but I still call it Lowe's Motor Speedway, I think it sounds cooler

Re: My Dads 68 Crew Cab
I was just thinking of how bada$$ that would look layed out, not to mention the bags would add some ajustability for tongue load weight when towing.
