Thank you guys!! I don't want to look like I don't get recognition from you guys!! You all have been great to me about that... If it wasn't for you guys and a little of my own restorations , I wouldn't know what was needed. WES

Re: Classic Heartbeat Featured in Hemmings Motor News!!

Congrats on the article.

One question I do have for ya, I bought some of these gromets from you, including the speedo cable one. How do you put that one, since the speedo cable had the "nuts" on each end? Will the hole expand enough to fit over without tearing?

Thanks for putting out some well needed parts!

Re: Classic Heartbeat Featured in Hemmings Motor News!!

Unfortunately you will have to split the grommet for that, just as you have to do with the emergency cable grommets. The good thing about it is our grommet does not have the steel clips that are embeded on a ring inside the rubber grommet that if cut the grommet is rendered useless. If you make a clean cut on our grommet, install it on your cable, then push it into the hole in your firewall you won't even see your cut when done. It will still function as it is supposed to and seal just as well. If you choose to you can even use a little rubber cement for added protection. Not necessary but some guys like to do it. WES

Re: Classic Heartbeat Featured in Hemmings Motor News!!

The console bumpers are a couple months out. I have dug up a few NOS ones if you need a pair. I need to keep a couple pairs for customer consoles that I have here though. WES

Re: Classic Heartbeat Featured in Hemmings Motor News!!

Wes. If you can spare them we need a pair of NOS console bumpers for our show truck and it you have plenty we would take another pair for Jason's driver.
Always appreciate you Paul and Jason

Re: Classic Heartbeat Featured in Hemmings Motor News!!

If you are looking to plug the hole, the oil pressure line grommet, speedometer cable grommet, and windshield washer 3 hole grommet will fill it. If you are trying to plug the hole, the oil pressure line grommet would be the best choice. It has the smallest hole in it. WES

Re: Classic Heartbeat Featured in Hemmings Motor News!!

cool. thanks. i have my tach wire running out of it now. i just pulled all the old wires out and ran that through there but it is old looking and sloppy with the bigger hole and only one 14-16g wire running through it. just looking for something new that would dress it up a little and make it look cleaner.

Nice one Wes! though I think a picture of the main man himself holding said grommets would have been fun.
