Re: think i might have to sell the 61
heres the deal, some one makes you a dumb and high offer, probably take it, you can always find another...
if you are trying to sell because you think you can get some money to help your situation...don't it won't sell for what you want, or have in it and you will always regret it. at this stage these trucks are rarely worth what we have invested in them.... it would be like hawking your $900 guitar for a quick $150, and forgetting to buy it back...

Re: think i might have to sell the 61
well then it can't need much to finish, do you just have to keep it liscensed to keep it parked there?
you would probably feel horrible if you got a job next week and had let it go for nothing... what does it need?

Re: think i might have to sell the 61
I had a few apartments like that , it sucked, one I didn't even drive, because I walked to work, and they would not give at all, told me if I didn't need to use the vehicles, to get rid of them... I moved

Re: think i might have to sell the 61
dont beat yourself up - its a passion, I know, but in the end, your family is far more important - Im nearing having to do something like this too - good thing on my side is they are all paid for and they can just sit on my property but times are tough and probably getting tougher - hopefully it went to a good home where the guy is in postiion to do something with it - afterall, these are supposed to get driven, not be lawn ornaments, right?
Hang in there - you sound like you have your priorities right - certainly do sympathize though amigo! |

Everyone I know has had to sacrifice something pretty important in the last couple of years. Good luck getting through the tough times.

Re: think i might have to sell the 61
I think the 456 is a good idea, there is alot more available for them, and I think they would be a little cheaper/easier to build.
hope to see you back sometime.

Re: think i might have to sell the 61
Sold a 57 bel air that I ALWAYS felt that same way about - and still do. But the fact is - there will be another one someday, and it'll be even sweeter when you get it.
