truck bed tool box need help

I just got a truck side tool box.Can anyone give me measurements and some reference pictures so i can put it in my truck.I am putting it in a '72 on the passanger side.I think the bed needs to be flanged so i can put the box in then put the door on.I guess the back of the box fastens to the top of the frame with brackets that it came with.

Re: truck bed tool box need help

The bed IS flanged. Try to find a junk box, that is missing the toolbox. (usually the door will rust off) then you can cut out the flange area, making your swap a whole lot easier.
