69 stepper back to DD

I am very glad I had the time in the last few weeks to rebuild the front suspension, replace the tires and shut off the heat. I havent really drove her much in the last year. I was sitting in front of the TV yesterday playing Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2...On the XboX 360. (yes at 42 I am being a kid) LOL. The phone rings. I look at the caller id and its the Springfield Police. Lots of colorful words came to mind then I answered it. The police officer proceeds to tell me that the old lady just had a head on with anther car. First thought in my mind was to get to her. I looked at that truck...nope not going in it cause I just cut down two trees in the front yard and loaded them in the truck. My nephews BMW motorcycle was sitting behind the truck. I grabbed the keys and was going like a rocket. I get there her and the baby is ok. The ol lady bounced her left hand off the dash....the airbag didnt deploy on the left side but did on the right. So she has some bruises on her arm and hand. The Cavalier is totaled. We should get the car paid off and have money left to buy something else. I am thinking suburban. This way if she hits another car....well I will be able to fix a suburban!
