gap
on my steering collumn between the column and the wheel ther is a gap that is at the widest part 1/2 inch what is it most of the trucks i have seen dont have gaps that large

look at the bottom of the column, where the collapsible shaft bolts on. There should be a spring........is it broken, or missing in action?
