More problems
So about the starter sticking would putting the spacer that comes with the starter make it stop. I used a little oil in the ignition and it stopped for about five cranks but now it sticks again and it is really frusterating having to open the hood and get ready to pop the batterie cable off every time you want to start it.
Also why is my th350 not shifting properly the fluid level is full but the transmission leaks somewhere it dosn't shift like it should I think I felt it shift once maybe and if you put it in park on a slight hill it starts rollong backwards making loud clicking sounds But on the other hand I managed to get the radio and heater working |

Re: More problems
Sounds like you need to adjust your shift linkage. On the starter part, I seem to recall some way of getting the gear to extend out to mesh with the flywheel without turning over. If you can do that, you should be able to get a paper clip in between the starter gear and flywheel. .050", if I recall. If you don't have that amount of clearance you will need to add or remove shims as necessary to get it.
